Instant Pot Rice


  • 1 cup Jasmine Rice
  • 1 cup Cold Water
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt optional


  • Rinse the rice under cold water by gently scrubbing the rice with your fingertips. Pour out the milky water between cleaning, and continue to rinse until the water is clear.
  • Add the Rice, Salt, and Cold Water to the Instant Pot.
  • Close the lid, and set to SEALING.
  • Pressure Cook at HIGH PRESSURE for 3 minutes, then NATURAL RELEASE for 10 minutes.
  • Release the remaining pressure, and open the lid.
