For several years I’ve wanted to do this simple little project to make a regular clock from the photo of Marty and Doc taken on September 5, 1885 at the Hill Valley Festival.
It’s as simple as putting a clock mechanism behind an enlarged photo and mounting it in a frame. A co-worker, Randy, 3D printed the clock hands, and I drilled holes in the finished hands to match the clock mechanism. Then, just to get it right, I laser-cut the hole in the photo.
Below is just the clock mounted, but without the frame.
