I’m in Louisville, Kentucky at the moment. Several people from Heartland went over to White Castle Hamburgers. Although I didn’t make it there with them, I just walked over and had my first White Castle experience. I got a White Castle Hamburger, a cheeseburger, and a double cheeseburger. By far, they were all the worst burgers – I might even say the worst food – I have ever had. No, I’m not exagerating. Yuck. Thank goodness I wasn’t really hungry so I didn’t order more.
Yes, yes… I complain a lot, but wow… seriously… awful. I think the reason they are so popular is because a hamburger is like… 46 cents or something. Even though McDonald’s isn’t fine cuisine, it TASTES like fine cuisine compared to White Castle.
Moral of the story: Go to White Castle just so you can say you’ve been. But don’t order much.
