Tortellini with Garlic Butter Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Three Cheese Tortellini 19 oz. bag
  • 1/4 cup Butter
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 3 cloves Minced Garlic
  • 1.5 tbsp. Cornstarch
  • 1.5 cups Vegetable Broth
  • 1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions
 

  • Boil the tortellini, according to the package instructions. Drain and keep aside.
  • In a non-stick pot, heat the Butter and Olive Oil over medium high heat, until the butter is fully melted.
  • Add the Garlic and saute until golden brown.
  • Dissolve the Cornstarch in the Vegetable Broth, and pour the mixture into the pot.
  • Mix in the Italian Seasoning, Salt, and Pepper.
  • Bring to a boil and let it cook, uncovered, until the sauce thickens.
  • Mix in the cooked Tortellini until fully coated.
  • Garnish with finely chopped fresh herbs like basil or parsley, and sprinkle grated parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
